The staff are polite and helpful. Although one may have to wait a little sometimes, it is worth it knowing that the treatment you get is first class.

I was seen immediately I called in the evening. I had an acute problem which was diagnosed as appendicitis and hospital admission was arranged within minutes. The calm but speedy action by Dr Stokes enabled rapid treatment without the pain and trauma often associated with this condition. Follow up sessions were informative and reassuring. Over recent years I've unfortunately needed several operations and other treatment for muscular problems. The part St Lawrence played enabled my treatment to be provided quickly, preventing ongoing problems

Excellent service apart from the fact that the surgery is not open seven days a week. It should be. Weekends are a problem and the fallout has to be taken up by the local A and E.
This is the main downside to what is otherwise a very commendable offering.

All the staff do as much as possible to help , although you may well have to wait to get an appointment with your own GP you can normally get an appointment with one of the other GP's, all who are very good.The receptionists do there best to fit you in and answer questions.If you phone before 10am a duty Dr is always available to return the call with advice and will decide if an appointment is required.I am very pleased with the treatment that I have received at St Lawrence.

I normally book appointments online, but whenever my husband or I have needed to see a doctor urgently we have been given an appointment the same day. The surgery is always spotlessly clean and the staff friendly and helpful. We consider ourselves lucky to be with them.
